The Magicard Prima 8 is a high quality retransfer printer, producing high quality Photo ID cards quickly in large volumes comparable to litho printing.

High Quality Print
The retransfer process prints the design on the films, and then gets heated up and stuck to the card. This process gives a over-the-edge finish (removing white lines around the edges of the cards) and a higher quality print.
Security
The Prima 8 can print invisible photographs, logos, text and symbols using a special dye sublimation Ultra Violet ribbon. The UV ink is not visible to the naked eye, but is only observable in the presence of UV light.
Access Control
The Prima 8 can be equipped with a range of encoding devices, used to write data to a wide range of card technologies.
